Jennette McCurdy New Show: Ariana Grande's Former Friend To Star In Netflix Show 'Between'

Jennette McCurdy New Show - It looks like Ariana Grade isn't the only former Nickelodeon star to have signed up on a new television series deal. Grande's former pal in "Sam & Cat," Jennette McCurdy has also signed on for a new show. In fact, Jennette's new show is set to debut soon.

If Ariana Grande's new show "Scream Queens" is all about music, fans should expect Jennette McCurdy's new show to be different. First off, Jennette McCurdy's new show is entitled, "Between," which has been produced by Netflix.

"Between" is a thriller about a town plagued by a deadly disease. The catch however is the disease doesn't affect those 21 year old and younger. It is still unclear as to what role the former Nickelodeon star will play in the film. Jennette McCurdy's new show looks promising indeed. For one, Jennette is all too excited about it as well.

"So excited to announce that I'll be starring in the new thriller series #BETWEEN coming to Netflix, City, and shomi in 2015!" shared McCurdy on her Twitter.

The latest announcement with regards to Jennette McCurdy's new show is that it would air soon. Erick Barmak of Netflix talked all about it on Twitter. Barmack shared that Jennette was present during the first screening of the pilot episode.

"Thanks to @jennettemccurdy for coming into @netflix this afternoon to watch a screener of ep. 1 of #between," tweeted Barmack.

Could Jennette McCurdy's new show be better than that of Grande's? For Grande's show, "Scream Queens" also features "Glee's" Lea Michele. The series is set to be directed by Ryan Murphy. Other stars set to be in the series include Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Joe Manganiello, Emma Roberts, and Jamie Lee Curtis. This is the first series Grande is set to star in after leaving Nickelodeon's original series, "Sam & Cat."
