Dwyane Wade may not be a fan of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' but he is walking the extra mile to see the film this Valentine's Day just so he could learn the BDSM techniques and use them with girlfriend Gabrielle Union.
Bleacher Report has learned that instead of Union being the one to drag Wade to the cinemas this weekend, it's the other way around. The NBA superstar is the one demanding for them to see the hotly anticipated flick.
The Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson starrer is going to hit theaters starting this Friday, Feb. 13, so it's just about right that Dwyane will be taking Gabrielle to a movie date.
Wade is currently in New York City for the NBA All-Star Weekend and when TMZ caught up with him this week, he admitted that he is watching the erotic, simulated bondage film with Union.
"I'm taking her," Wade said when asked if he is going to watch the movie adaptation of the erotic book series with Union.
Then, when he was asked if he had read EL James' hit series, he said, "I skimmed through it. I had the Cliff Notes."
Wade and Union tied the knot in August 2014 and since this is their first Valentine's date as a married couple, Dwyane Wade admitted that he wants to make it extra special by learning some new techniques to spice up their sex life.
"I wanna learn something," Wade said. "I just got married. I got to keep it up."
Interestingly, Gossip Cop has learned that Union is also very open about her bodily pleasures.
In a guest appearance on "Conan" this week, the former model gushed on how "self-love" could be "fun" and even admitted that she is pro-masturbation.
