Tension Reliever Massage at The Spa at Beverly Wilshire

If dad enjoys golf, but he's been hitting the driving range too frequently, this relaxing massage at this Beverly Hills, CA spa might interest him. During this 60- or 90-minute massage at this four-star spa, therapists use golf balls along the neck and back to alleviate tension and work out knots in small areas. Guests can then relax in the spa's steam room with color changing fiber-optic lights and heated benches. After he's relaxed, he can use the spa's showers and choose from three water pressure settings.

This is more than your average barber shop. Your dad might not be comfortable with massages, but he can enjoy a full head to toe treatment at this men's only salon in New York, Chicago, or Toronto. The 50-minute treatment include a brown sugar-and-bourbon body scrub and is followed by a warm milk bath soak and a slather of heated agave nectar oil. Dad can then have access to a private cabana by the resort's adult-only pool and watch whatever he wants on TV, without having to fight over the remote.

Makai Golf Retreat Pedicure at Halele'a Spa at The St. Regis Princeville Resort

Dad can enjoy a round of golf at the Makai Golf Club at this Four-Star resort on this Hawaiian island of Kauai. Then he'll head to the resort spa for a full pedicure to relax his feet. The 30-minute sports foot treatment includes a warm sea salt bath soak, a foot scrub, and a calf massage, relieving sore muscles and tension in the feet. Dad can then finish the treatment in the scent-infused steam room or the shower with a rainforest showerhead, 12 body jets and a waterfall.

A facial doesn't seem like a manly treatment, but this Five-Star spa knows how to make it manly. Dad can opt for a 50- or 80- minute treatment which features the spa's unique black diamond exfoliation, lymphatic stimulation, an acupressure massage and a black silt mask to minimize pores and fine lines. He can then get the hot-lather shave that used luxurious European Hommage products and then sit back in an old-school leather barber chair and sip on a beer or tequila.
