The music world has been taken back to the 90s by this recent leak of Spice Girls songs that have never been heard before. These four songs were reportedly supposed to be part of the all-girl group's 2000 album, "Forever," according to Mirror, as reported by Ace Showbiz.
The titles of the leaked tracks are "Right Back at Ya", "A Day in Your Life", "If It's Lovin' on Your Mind", and "Pain Proof." The first song mentioned sounded to be a different version of one of the girl group's already existing hits, while the other three were songs that have never been played to the public before.
The songs were first uploaded to a famous streaming service, Soundcloud, before they were removed. Thankfully for those who want to listen to them, they have already been re-uploaded on various websites, such as YouTube, says Telegraph.
Sadly, since the songs were meant for their album in 2000, it did not feature Geri Halliwell's vocals in them. Halliwell, more famously known as Ginger Spice, decided to leave the band in 1998. This means that she was featured in the group's first two albums, "Spice" and "Spiceworld," both of which were produced by Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard.
After the "Forever" album was out, the group went on an indefinite hiatus. Thankfully for their loyal fans, the Spice Girls returned with their Greatest Hits album, along with a reunion tour. They also reunited for the London Olympics, before Victoria Beckham, formerly Victoria Adams, more famously known as Posh Spice, decided that she will never perform again.
"I won't ever do it again," Beckham said. "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it - proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great.' Thank you to everybody, but no more. Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."
Without Halliwell and Beckham in the mix, this means that the only members left would be Mel C, or Sporty Spice; Emma Bunton, or Baby Spice; and Mel B, or Scary Spice.
