Florida Couple, Dumpster Sleeping, Almost Died, 911 Call From Truck Driver [SOUND CLIP]

Florida Couple Dumpster - Florida authorities reported that an intoxicated man and woman had to be rescued after falling asleep inside a Dumpster then later emptied into a garbage truck, according to the Associated Press. A driver from Progressive Waste Solutions said he found the Florida couple dumpster at the back of his truck Wednesday morning.

Apparently, after partying at Florida's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, 37-year-old Donald L. Jordan and 49-year-old Lisa Sirbella fell asleep inside the dumpster. The Florida couple dumpster later woke up "screaming" as the compactor started, reported the Tampa Bay Times.

Just after 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning, rescue crews were called by the driver to have the Florida couple dumpster removed from the truck. Complaining of back pain, they were taken to Tampa General Hospital. Neither suffered major injuries, according to MTV.

Jordan has already been released from the hospital, while Sirabella is reportedly still recovering after the Florida couple dumpster incident.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff's officials, the Dumpster had been outside a convenience store near Tampa. The Florida couple dumpster began screaming and banging on the sides of the truck as the Dumpster was being emptied into the back of the garbage truck.

"It was originally believed that they were homeless," said the local sheriff's office, "but it seems they were just really intoxicated after hanging out at the casino."

The Florida couple dumpster incident isn't the first run-in of the couple with the law. According to the Tampa Bay Times, they have already had 65 arrests between them since 1999.
