6 Things You Should Know About The Upcoming 'Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron' Film: From Spoilers To Rumors

"Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" is just a few months away. Fans of the Marvel comic book series turned films are already debating as to what might happen in the upcoming movie. Rumours are already rife as to a certain lead character dying in the film. Here are six things you should know about the upcoming sequel to "Avengers."

1. First off, Joss Whedon is the director for "Avengers 2." The usual actors for Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Loki, Hawkeye, and Captain America have been re-casted. New additions to the cast include Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch. For those who don't know, both are the kids of Magneto from the other Marvel comic book series, "X-Men." Added to the cast are Paul Bettany as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, as well.

2. Given the latest news that Spiderman is set to be included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans should expect a cameo from Spidey in the sequel for "Avengers." Of course, the big question as to who would be cast as the new Spiderman still remains.

3. For those who didn't read the comics, Ultron in the comics was originally created by Hank Pym, also known as Ant-Man. Basically, Ultron decided to rebel against his creator. As for the film adaptation, Ultron was created by none other than the genius, philanthropist, and play boy, Tony Stark (Iron Man).

4. With the sequel to "Avengers" finally hitting theatres by May, does this mean fan boys and girls over the world would see more of the Infinity Stones? Well, there have been a few appearances made by the said stones. As for the Soul Stone, it may make its appearance in "Age of Ultron" according to Unleash the Fan Boy.
"I wanted to wait and share this info with you until after Thor 2 came out in the U.S. because it is about the newly revealed Infinity Stones. A contact of mine told me Joss Whedon may be using the Soul Stone to help create Ultron in Avengers 2."

5. Would someone die in the latest instalment to "Avengers?" Rumour has it that either Captain America or Hawkeye would die in the film, but all this has plainly been speculation. Early reports claim Black Widow would die in the sequel, but given Kevin Feige's latest big reveal, Scarlet Johansson has quite the big role in "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron." Black Widow dying is certainly not an option.

6. With the storyline set to follow Hulk and Iron Man getting into a fight, the Planet Hulk storyline may come into play. For those who still haven't read this part of the Marvel comics, Hulk is sent to Planet Hulk by Tony Stark, Professor X, and Mr. Fantastic. This decision was made after Hulk continued to cause casualties over his explosive behaviour.

With so much "spoilers" and rumours online, it's hard for Marvel fans to keep up with what may or may not happen. For one, everyone should simply head to the nearest cinema once "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" premieres. By then, it'll be easy to connect the dots as to what might happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
