Girl Selfie With Dead Body: Incident Repeats In Pennsylvania, Guy Uses SnapChat To Forward Photo Of Murdered Victim

Apparently, there's a bizarre trend going around these past few months. Teenagers have been taking selfies to the extremes. Last Feb 2014, an Alabama high school student was under fire after taking a selfie with a dead body from a biology lab. Yet, the girl selfie with dead body isn't the worst of its kind as the latest involves a boy from Pennsylvania who took a selfie with the body of his murder victim.

The girl selfie with dead body was taken during a trip to the University of Alabama's biology lab. Unlike her lifeless companion in the photo, the teenager was all smiles. While the original photo has been taken down from social media sites, a screen shot of the post was sent to school authorities.

Despite the policies of having no phones allowed on the tour, the girl selfie with dead body clearly got away with it - though not completely. This incident is however nothing compared to the latest news. A 16-year old boy, identified as Maxwell Marion Monton, from Pennsylvania has been charged with first-degree murder after he had posted a selfie of his victim.

If the girl selfie with dead body was taken at a morgue, the boy's selfie with the dead body was taken in his own home. The victim in the photo has been identified as Ryan Mangan. Monton had used a 9mm handgun to shoot Mangan to death.

So if the girl selfie with dead body was caught by school officials after having a screen shot sent to them by one of the students, how did Monton get caught? The teenager used the application, SnapChat, which showed the photo of the shooter and his dead victim in the background. Monton had also sent out a text saying "Told you I cleaned up the shells" and "Ryan was not the last one."

Investigations are ongoing with regards to Monton's selfie with the dead victim. Hopefully, this incident along with the girl selfie with dead body would be the last.
