Beck Music - Everyone would admit to the fact that after hearing all about Beck's big win at the Grammy Awards 2015, Beck was the number one Google search for the night. Who exactly is Beck and what are his songs?
First off, Beck's music is mainly alternative and indie according to his Wikipedia page. Some of his songs are from the early 90s with titles such as "Loser," "Sexx Laws," and "Where It's At." While he originally rose to fame in the year 1990s, it wasn't until later that he became known for his broad range of music.
Beck's music for all 12 studio albums encompass country, psychedelia, alternative rock, folk, soul, funk, and hip hop. Given he's been active in the music industry since the year 1985, it would be obvious that Beck has tried everything there is to try when it comes to song writing and producing songs.
Well, years of making a variety of music has certainly done well for Beck. Beck's music garnered a number of Grammy awards at the recently concluded Grammy Awards 2015. Along with Sam Smith, Beck scooped up numerous awards, which include Best Album and Best Rock Album.
Of course, Beck's music win certainly didn't earn him a number of fans on Twitter. A lot of fans of Beyonce had hoped she would win at the Grammys and some had even started the hash tag, #WhoIsBeck. Sore losers as anyone would call them.
Music Times on the other hand states that Beck's music and victory is a plot to ruin Rock 'N Roll. All this was stated by the band Trapt on their Facebook page as posted by Billboard.
"The fact that Paramore won an award for Best Rock Song and Beck won for Best Rock Album shows you that there is a conspiracy going around to destroy the essence of what rock music is all about," reads the post.
As for Beck, the Grammy award winner couldn't care less. For one, fans will certainly look forward to more Beck music.
