In the 28-seconds-long clip, one can see a person's pair of hands doing the trick. First, he puts the egg in a glass, then he fills the glass up to half an inch of water before covering the top with one hand and shaking the glass vigorously.
The end result: a perfectly peeled boiled egg with the egg shell being easily removed in less than a second.
Commenters weighing in on the technique were divided on their opinion. One commenter says, "This looks promising, as I'm tired of all the other failed "tricks" to peel a boiled egg. How soon after you've boiled the egg? What's the temperature of the faucet water?"
