Shark Left On Subway - For those taking a subway ride in New York City, some of you would have probably seen the most bizarre acts and stuff lying around. However, nothing beats the dead shark that was left in the subway back in the year 2013. The big question is was it a real shark or not?
The dead shark left on subway caused quite the hype on the Internet back in the year 2013. How a shark could be found in what could be the last place on earth it would be found - a subway? The dead shark was found in the Queens-bound N-train by a passenger who complained about a fishy smell.
"I board a car that's not terribly full and as soon as I enter, a stench hits my nose. It's not the typical urine/trash smell, it's...fishy? I look down to the end of the car to see a dead shark on the floor. I think I stood there for a good minute just staring, thinking 'Is this for real?! Oh come ON, NYC!' One of my fellow passengers remarked 'I've been riding the subway for 15 years, and this is the weirdest thing I've seen. And I've seen EVERYTHING.' The train filled as we made our way to Astoria, every new passenger was getting excited about it. Once we got to Queensboro Plaza, an MTA employee made all of us move to another car," explains the tipster in a report by Huffington Post.
Clearly, the dead shark left on subway was indeed real. As to how it got there, there has yet been an answer. For one, Kevin Ortiz of MTA claims the dead shark served as a good promo for Shark Week for Discovery Channel.
