Rosie Perez has returned to her seat on "The View" on Tuesday and she was quick to make a bold statement regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition as of late.
According to Gossip Cop, the 50-year-old unwisely accused Lifetime's Whitney Houston biopic to have caused the serious damage on Bobbi Kristina.
"Just thought about the movie that came out, and this is no disrespect to Angela Bassett because I love [her], but this unauthorized bio of her mom must have killed her," Perez said in her returning episode.
Of course, she was quick to realise that she committed an error there since the late diva's daughter is not dead and is currently "fighting for her life" because she's in a medically induced coma.
"That was a terrible phrasing. Let me take that back," The "Do The Right Thing" star said. "It must have really hurt her deeply to watch that. We forget that these people are human beings... We put them into the tabloids, and we forget we're human beings."
The live audience then clapped for Perez's statement.
It can be noted that the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney and Bobby Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub on Saturday, reports Yahoo TV!
Brown's ordeal happened almost three years since her mother passed away and less than a month since the TV Movie/biopic was released.
In her returning episode, Perez received a warm welcome from her co-hosts, with Whoopi Goldberg saying, "We are back as we were originally. This is 'The View.'"
Rosie even told Goldberg that she's feeling pretty fabulous now that she has returned on the hit daytime talk show, USA Today has learned.
"Girl, I am feeling fabulous. I am very, very happy to be back," she said.
