Warren Sapp ARRESTED: Hall of Famer's Contract Terminated After Being Accused Of Assaulting, Injuring Two Prostitutes After Super Bowl Event

Warren Sapp got busted on Monday. The 42-year-old Hall of Famer reportedly got arrested over claims that he had assaulted and injured two prostitutes on Monday, following the very successful Super Bowl 2015 event.

According to TMZ, Sapp was arrested after two women alerted the authorities that they were assaulted by the University of Miami alum amid a dispute over money.

The women admitted that they entered Warren's hotel room "as escorts" but an argument with the former football defensive tackle ensued, leading to a physical fight into the hallway.

"He [Sapp] was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females," police said.

Cops confirmed that both ladies obtained injuries consistent with a struggle.

"We were contacted by the Phoenix Police Dept. today in a matter involving a guest," a hotel spokesperson said. "We are cooperating with police as they look into the situation since it is an active investigation. We have no further comment."

Following his arrest, NFL Network has decided to terminate his contract, reports Sports Illustrated.

"Warren Sapp has been suspended indefinitely without pay from NFL Network pending the outcome of ongoing police investigation," an NFL Network spokesperson said.

Network executives maintain that they have little tolerance for criminal allegations.

This is not the first time Warren Sapp got arrested. In 2010, he was taken into police custody over battery charges while covering that year's Super Bowl in Miami, Gossip Cop has learned.

Sapp is considered the second athlete-turned-sports announcer arrested for soliciting prostitutes in the past month.

On Jan. 16, CBS and Turner sports broadcaster Greg Anthony was arrested and was indefinitely suspended.
