Miley Cyrus has another reason to smile. News broke late this week that the "Wrecking Ball" songstress has finally gotten the approval of her boyfriend's mother, Maria Shriver.
According to E! News, Cyrus and her beau Patrick Schwarzenegger were joined by the latter's 59-year-old journalist mother when they dined at Laurel Hardware in West Hollywood, Calif., last Friday night.
Insiders gushed that Miley and Maria seemed to have gotten close to each other, with Shriver even sitting beside the "Hannah Montana" star while they were enjoying great food.
"They all looked like they were having a great time - enjoying engaging conversation and laughing," one insider said. "It looked like Maria and Miley got along really well."
News about their lovely dinner comes after several media outlets reported that Shriver is not really pleased with her son's dating partner, especially her nude photos for V magazine.
"Maria is disgusted by the pictures," a Hollywood Life source said last week. "She just doesn't get it. Why Miley would do this, and what the appeal is for Patrick."
At the time, sources claimed that Patrick's father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, "has embraced her (Miley) with open arms."
Meanwhile, apart from enjoying some sumptuous dinner on Friday evening, Cyrus also enjoyed the company of her boyfriend as they were photographed in yet another PDA spree, reports Cambio.
"I saw her put an arm on his shoulder and then he put his arm around her. They were smiling a lot. Miley and Patrick were really cute together. They look like they are genuinely in love," gushed an insider.
However, it appears that Shriver may have something new to feel disgusted about yet again. Cyrus posted another topless photo with dear friend Sky Fereira on Instagram.
