Madonna Hacker Arrested After Month-Long Investigation: Report

Madonna's hacker was arrested today in Israel. Time has learned that the man who is suspected of hacking into the iconic singer's computer late last year got arrested after a month-long investigation.

The yet to be named 39-year-old hacker virtually accessed Madonna's computer and leaked demo versions of the singer's songs for her upcoming "Rebel Heart" album, Time reports.

The arrest of the Israel native was made possible by the effort of the country's Lahav 433, which is basically an organization similar to the FBI.

Authorities said the suspect allegedly "broke into the personal computers of several international artists over the past few months and stole"unreleased music that he leaked in exchange for some cash, according to NBC News.

"In light of the findings of the investigation the unit collaborated closely with the FBI, with suspicion of even more break-ins to computers owned by unknown international artists, stealing and selling their works," Lahav 433 said in a statement.

Though the Israeli authorities are hesitant to reveal Madonna's hacker's identity, many citizens took to social media to point their fingers to a former reality show contestant in one of their country's singing competition programs.

It can be noted that Madonna was forced to release six songs from the album on iTunes in the wake of the theft, which according to her is "a form of terrorism" and "artist rape," Billboard has learned.

Madonna's hacker, who was arrested on Wednesday, was reportedly targeting other international artists as well but it isn't clear whether he has victimized other singers already.
