Character Anastasia Steele is a young literature student who meets the handsome and wealthy businessman, Christian Grey. The book then goes on to develop an erotic dominant/submissive relationship between the two and it details their sexcapades.
The book has developed a wide, mostly female fan base as female readers around the country read and fantasize about fictional character Christian Grey. Well now, The Heathman Hotel in Portland, Oregon is getting a bit more attention as this is one of the places that Ana and Christian meet with each other in the book.
Fans are stopping by and staying at the Heathman to get a real life idea of the fantasies that they've been living through the book. Several people take pictures of things like elevator 3 and suites with a sunburst headboard, where Ana and Christian shared intimate moments in the book.
The Heathman Hotel has decided to play along and is now offering packages based on scenes in the book. One is the "Charlie Tango" package.
