Elizabeth Olsen and Boyd Holbrook have gone separate ways and they decided to do so nearly a year after they got engaged to be married.
According to Us Weekly, Mary Kate and Ashley's younger sister and her actor boyfriend have called of their engagement over the weekend.
Sources say the confirmation to their split was evident when Olsen stepped out and headed to a farmer's market in California this weekend without sporting her engagement ring.
The 25-year-old "Avengers: Age of Ultron" star was photographed wearing a plain ensemble that was really fitting for her trip to the market, where she reportedly grabbed fruits and veggies.
Her appearance in Studio City, Ca., was actually her most recent one since she made a public appearance at Comic-Con way back in July, Just Jared reports.
She with a couple of pals that day, but she was not spared by the paparazzi. Interestingly, the candid snaps didn't only show what Olsen got from the market but it also confirmed that she has ditched her engagement band for good.
Rumors that the twosome have split emerged when Holbrook attended a pre-Golden Globes party on Jan. 9 without Olsen.
Then, at one point the "Gone Girl" star was spotted flirting with a blonde woman at the party. The 33-year-old actor has never commented on the issue since it surfaced.
Elizabeth Olsen and Boyd Holbrook met on the set of "Very Good Girls" back in 2012 and they began dating with the help of director Naomi Foner, who played matchmaker for them.
"We slowly saw that developing. It was a lovely extra little thing that came out of making such a nice collaboration," Foner told Page Six at the time.
In March 2014, they got engaged after moving in to a Brooklyn home a few months prior.
In her last interview with Marie Claire UK, Olsen gushed about her engagement saying, "I'm relaxed about it, but I am excited and planning ideas because it's fun-it's just like throwing a party to celebrate life. I love being in a relationship a lot."
