Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill's budding romance is no more. The twosome have apparently called it quits, saying that it's officially over between them before it even became a real thing.
According to MediaTakeOut, the primary reason behind Minaj and Mill's split could be because the "Anaconda" hit maker couldn't keep her promise of not talking to ex-boyfriend Safari Samuels anymore.
The "Bang Bang" rapper made Mill feel insecure and upset because she didn't keep her promise and is clearly still in good terms with Samuels.
After their split, Meek Mill reportedly took to Instagram to post a vague Instagram snap, which he captioned "looking at this thot."
Insiders claim that Mill was unfortunately referring to Minaj though he didn't name the person he was referring to in the snap.
Things started to become clear and undeniable that it was Nicki when the 32-year-old female recording artist shared a photo of her "thot card."
Then, to confirm the split, both rappers dished on Sunday about "walking away" from a relationship and it was pretty obvious that they were talking about each other, reports Fashion & Style.
"Give yourself permission to immediately walk away from anything that gives you bad vibes. There is no need to explain or make sense of it. Just trust what you feel," Mill's shared snap read.
On the other hand, Minaj posted a meaningful message: "Give the gift of your absence to those who do not appreciate your presence."
Both Minaj and Mill never confirmed publicly that they are dating but several sources they were.
They even dropped some hints on social media about their budding romance when they posted shared snaps on their accounts.
Still, it is not that surprising that they broke up since Minaj is said to be pondering on her real feelings for ex-boyfriend Samuels.
Another thing, Samuels revealed to "The Breakfast Club" that he considers the female rapper his "soulmate" and that they still have each other's numbers.
