Oregon Man Sandwiched Between Trucks But Miraculously Survives Almost Scratch-Free After Praying For Help?

What would you do if you get sandwiched between trucks in Oregon? Kaleb Whitby, 27, who experienced this real-life nightmare said he simply asked for help from above. And what do you know? It worked.

According to CNN, the man who got sandwiched between trucks in Oregon miraculously managed to survive the horrifying incident after he prayed for help.

"When I saw those lights coming, I knew he was going to hit me," Whitby told reporters. "And then I closed my eyes and prayed that everything turned out OK. That was all I could do."

The 27-year-old hardworking father revealed that everything was so fast and that he even heard metal crunching during the incident.

Despite the tragic event, the man who got sandwiched between trucks in Oregon admitted that he is a man of faith and that this could have been the reason why he was spared from the accident let alone survived it almost scratch-free, reports Daily Mail.

"I do believe, and I'm very firm in that, and I just held on to the wheel as tight as I could, tucked my head and just kept praying the whole time. After he hit, I just hoped that it would be over with soon," he said.

He then went on to explain what took place and how things would have turned out differently if they didn't go his way.

"When the second truck hit my back end, it spun my bed underneath the first trailer that I hit and continued to swing my nose around, and I guess put my nose underneath the second trailer," he explained.

"And as that trailer came around, it just kind of pushed me down and further into that -- that small V where you can actually see both the trailers within arm's reach on both sides. And so if they would've pushed me even a foot, it would have crushed me."

As a result, Whitby was left with a bruise on his left eyebrow and a couple of scratches on his right hand.

The incident involving a man who survives getting sandwiched between trucks in Oregon may seem to be very unbelievable. Even authorities couldn't believe it.

"This is the biggest crash I have seen in a while," Oregon State Police Sgt. Kyle Hove said. "It was extremely slick out there. One semi that spun around on the black ice started the chain reaction."

"It's surprising no one died in this," Hove quipped. "I think we're fortunate that there weren't any fatalities here."

According to Oregon Live, more than 100 people were actually involved in the tragic pileup on Saturday morning when three collisions tok place on Interstate 84.

Whitby is just one of the victims of the collisions involving over 20 vehicles which were mostly semi-trucks.

At least 12 people were rushed to the hospital and only one was said to be in crucial condition on Sunday.
