Boston Bomber Injured Throat: 'Botched Suicide Attempt' Could Delay Trial, Suspect Now Able To Speak?

Boston Bomber Injured Throat - Two years after the Boston Marathon bombing, the trial officially starts today. There was much delay to the said proceedings due to the only living suspect's "botched" suicide attempt. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had shot himself in the throat that led to an injured larynx.

In April of 2013, reports of Boston bomber injured throat hit the web. Sources said that during the last stand with authorities, Tsarnaev had shot himself in the throat to avoid having to deal with questions from FBI interrogators.

"Dzhokhar can't speak due to his injuries," reports a source close to the investigating team, adding, "He will be asked to indicate his answers by any means possible - either writing them down or even blinking with his eyes to say yes or no."

The "botched" suicide attempt left the Boston bomber injured throat, with the bullet missing from his spinal cord. The bullet came out at the back of his neck. His hospitalization took more than six months ago, where he was hospitalized in the same hospital as his 11 victims from the Boston Marathon bombing incident.

For those who have only heard of the Boston bomber injured throat reports and the Boston Marathon bombing incident, the event took place back in April 15, 2013. Tsarnaev along with his brother had detonated two bombs, which was located a few yards from the finish line at the Boston Marathon. Approximately 260 people were injured while three were killed.

With months of hospitalization involving the Boston bomber's injured throat, jury selection for the upcoming trial will now begin. Jurors selected for the federal death penalty case will be deciding if Tsarnaev was guilty of the attacks at the Boston Marathon.

The Boston bomber injured throat will not save him from the 30 counts of federal charges. Seventeen out of the 30 make him eligible for the death penalty.
