‘Will & Grace’ Reunion Show NOT HAPPENING! But Lead Stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack Will Be Working Together Again

A "Will & Grace" reunion show? Not likely gonna happen, but alums Debrah Messing and Eric McCormack have dropped good news for loyal show fans this week.

According to E! News, while there isn't going to be a real "Will & Grace" reunion show, there is actually going to be an on-screen reunion between Messing and McCormack.

It was already revealed and confirmed that McCormack has scored a guest appearance on Messing's show "The Mysteries of Laura."

However, instead of their typical funny chemistry, things are going dark for the two stars since McCormack is slated to appear as a murder suspect in the show.

Per spoilers coming from the people working on the series, McCormack is portraying Dr. Andrew Devlin, who is described as a "roguish, arrogant-as-can-be heart surgeon."

Interestingly, McCormack's character is actually Messing's character Laura's ex-fiance - which now makes everything a little more complicated, The Backlot has learned.

Fans of their previous show, which ran from 1998 to 2006 will surely be thrilled to know that though there isn't going to be a "Will & Grace" reunion show, Messing and McCormack are going to appear together on national television this week.

All that's left now is for Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally to also score guest appearances in this storyline so a complete cast reunion would ensue, reports Perez Hilton.

Laura is set to work on a case involving the murdered wife of Devlin, but when the lead character tries to establish the fact that the latter is the prime suspect, sparks will fly and a complicated storyline unfolds.

"The Mysteries of Laura" airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
