The wheels on the food trucks in New York City, Philadelphia and New Jersey will be rolling toward Monmouth Park, New Jersey this Memorial Day weekend for the first Jersey Shore Food Truck Wars. The culinary bonanza will showcase some of the finest food truck fare in the New York metro area, and you, the people, will vote on who serves the best fixings.
From one-of-a-kind hot dogs to all natural steamed dumplings, you can dive into a wide range of foods at the culinary competition. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast fare like waffles and ice cream or delectable desserts like mango sorbet, you can find it all at the Jersey Shore Food Truck Wars. Who knows, you may even spot a Snooki or two.

Rachel Allen will play live music from noon to 4 p.m. as a backdrop to the feasting fun, courtesy of Thunder 106.3 FM.
After stuffing yourself silly with the gourmet food truck fare, you can take in a horse race at Monmouth Park or bring the whole family to celebrate at Family Fun Day, also slated for Sunday, May 27. The family activities will unfold from 12 to 4 p.m. on the Grandstand side of the track. Admission to the Grandstand is $3 for adults and free for children ages 12 and younger. All children's activities are free. New Jersey's own rock 'n' roll band the Kootz will provide musical entertainment for the family fun.
Adults, head to Monmouth Park's beer garden to satisfy your thirst. Monmouth Park also offers a variety of restaurants, ranging from the upscale Dining Terrace, which provides panoramic views of the race track, to the casual Salvator Bar & Grill, serving up its specialty crab cake sandwiches.
