"Fifty Shades of Grey" is definitely the talk of the town especially now that the film adaptation is just a month away from premiering. However, contrary to building up the chemistry between co-lead actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, the lead stars didn't show that much excitement to be together onstage of the Golden Globe Awards 2015.
According to SlashFilm, during the 2015 Golden Globes, Dornan - who plays titular character Christian Grey - and Johnson - who portrays the submissive Anastasia Steele - were tasked to present the nominees and name the winner of the Best Supporting TV Actress award.
Obviously it was supposed to be part of the seemingly never-ending promotion for the much talked about film. In fact, the extended trailer for the movie adaptation was also dropped during the Awards ceremony.
When both actors were called on to the stage, they appeared to be on character at first. Then, in just a split-second their facial expressions started to change as though they were "utterly bored to be there with each other."
There wasn't any scripted exchanges to partly tease fans on what's to come for the film. Perhaps they forgot prepare one, but since they are trying to sell the film based on their chemistry, they could have at least pretended to have some during their presentation, eh?

On the other hand, it's quite remarkable to note that Dornan looked adorable when he arrived on the red carpet hand-in-hand with wife Amelia. The 32-year-old "Once Upon A Time" star appeared matchy-matchy with his wife: he donned a black-and-white tux and bowtie while Amelia rocked a plain white dress that was adorned with striking design at the bottom, reports ET Online.
Meanwhile, Johnson chose to go solo on the red carpet while donning a shiny silver Chanel dress with an enticing slit going up the middle of the dress.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to hit theaters this Valentine's Day.
