Uh-oh! Looks like 2015 didn't start well for Chris Brown who got involved into a bloody mess during the early hours of Sunday.
According to TMZ, Rihanna's controversial ex-boyfriend made an appearance at a San Jose nightclub early Sunday morning when suddenly a serious fight took place in a corner of the venue.
Gunshots were fired and five concertgoers were confirmed to have been wounded out of the incident.
Prior to the serious fight, Chris Brown was singing his hits at around 1:20 a.m. and the crowd was even at a peaceful state during his performance.
However, things began to take a turn for the worse while the 25-year-old R&B artist was singing his "Loyal."
Then, when he acknowledged the brawl of some of the attendees in the corner, gunshots were fired.
"Aw, them n---as gettin' hit over there!" Brown showed to the microphone before the atmosphere turned violent.
Good thing, Brown's bodyguards were very quick to rush him into safety, reports Us Weekly.
The moment when Brown got shocked by the gunshots was captured in a video that TMZ has retrieved and uploaded online.
At the sound of the gunshots, clubgoers quickly ran for their lives by rushing towards the nearest exit as quickly as possible.
On the other hand, Brown was ushered by a security team out of the establishment.
Authorities said four people were taken to the hospital. Another wounded concertgoer later on showed up at the ER to get treatment for his injury.
All five victims are expected to survive, according to New York Daily News.
A couple of concertgoers were detained, but police are yet to reveal whether they have arrested the suspects, who are yet to be named.
This is actually not the first time that an event featuring Brown ended with people getting hurt.
In August, Chris hosted a pre-VMAs party at 1Oak in Los Angeles.
During the event, producer Suge Knight was shot at least six times but he managed to survive the attack.
