Katy Perry and John Mayer have rekindled their once cut-short romance, per New York Post's Page Six.
The music celebrities confirmed the rekindled romance speculations when they stepped out together on Thursday night and dined at Hollywood's Tower Bar, alongside other Hollywood celebs.
Onlookers dished that the 37-year-old "Free Fallin'" singer and the 3o-year-old "Dark Horse" songstress appeared to be very much in love that night.
"Katy Perry and John Mayer walked in together, arm in arm, and the whole room literally fell silent," an insider said of the surprising entrance the twosome made.
"Even Dimitri Dimitrov - Hollywood's most famous maitre d', who has seen everything - and Sunset Tower owner Jeff Klein both stop mid-sentence when John and Katy arrived, as if they wanted to announce to everyone in Hollywood they are back together," the insider added.
The restaurant at the Sunset Tower Hotel didn't only witnessed the rekindled relationship between Perry and Mayer, but was also graced by the presence of a number of big Hollywood names including producer Lee Daniel, model Naomi Campbell, and actors and actresses Clint Eastwood, Scarlett Johansson, Liz Goldwyn, Reese Witherspoon, Kid Cudi, Dita Von Teese, Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg, among others.
It can be noted that rumors that the two are back together surfaced last week after they were spotted enjoying dinner at a friend's house over the weekend.
Several sources claimed they event spent the night together at their friend's house and enjoyed each other's company the following day at Perry's mansion, Daily Mail has learned.
Perry and Mayer first dated in 2012 after the former called it quits from then-husband Russell Brand.
The singing couple called it quits in February and this is the first time that they stepped out together once again.
In between the time where they split, Perry reportedly dated Diplo while Mayer romanced Taylor Swift.
Meanwhile, the "Roar" singer, who has been tapped to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show at the University of Phoenix stadium on Feb. 1, recently announced that she is going to have a very special guest on her set,
"My first special guest is going to be an incredible rock n roll icon, a guitar god," Perry reportedly said, according to Today. "I'm going to have Lenny Kravitz on the show!"
"He's got so much style. He's the coolest. He's the King of cool," she added. "He's going to make me so much cooler that day."
