"Home Improvement" Reunion 2014 - The television hit, "Home Improvement" was quite popular in the 90s. Almost everyone tuned in to watch Tim Allen's antics along with his three kids and wife. Luckily, three of the original TV series cast members reunited for one episode of "Last Man Standing."
The mini "Home Improvement" reunion 2014 took place last Friday night during the episode of "Last Man Standing." Tim Allen, the main star of the show, reunited with his TV wife, Patricia Richardson. In a tribute to their famous show, the two had talked about power tools. E! Online shares a dialogue shared by the stars for the episode.
"Wow. Have we met before?" asks Allen's character, Mike Baxter.
"You do look vaguely familiar," replies Richardson's character, Helen Potts. She later adds, "You like tools?"
"Not as much as I used to," replies Baxter.
"I've got a million things to fix around the house. My idiot husband thought he was quite the handyman but mostly he just set stuff on fire, blew things up and complained about my cooking," says Potts.
"Sounds like a fun Tuesday night," exclaims Baxter.
"You should try putting up with him for eight years," replies Potts, adding, "Eight long years."
For those who don't know, "Home Improvement" ran for eight seasons before ending in the year 1999. The "Home Improvement" reunion 2014 for the episode of "Last Man Standing" also saw Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Thomas played one of Allen's sons in the 90s sitcom.
Unlike Richardson who enjoyed a long dialogue with Allen for the mini "Home Improvement" reunion 2014, Thomas only appeared briefly at the end of the episode. In past episodes of "Last Man Standing," Thomas appeared three times in episodes set in the late 2013 to 2014. Fans have yet to see the Taylor family reunite.
