Girl Thrown From Bridge - A father, who reportedly acted strangly in the recent days, pushed threw his 5-year-old daughter from a Florida bridge.
According to MSN News, the father identified as John Jonchuk threw off his 5-year-old girl, Phoebe, from a bridge amid the battle for custody over the little one.
On Wednesday, John met with attorney Genevieve Torres to discuss the custody case over Phoebe, who was found dead in the Tampa Bay by police officers later on.
Per Torres's statement, she noticed the the embattled father was already displaying odd behaviour a few days earlier, noting that he even called her "God" and asked for her to translate the Bible in Swedish.
Alarmed, Torres alerted police officers about the strange behavior of Jonchuk, but the authorities didn't see anything unusual when they interviewed John and his 5-year-old girl.
"She was smiling and appeared healthy, properly clothed and happy," according to police documents.
However, just about 12 hours after the interview, John threw his little girl from a bridge, which apparently led to the death of the latter.
An officer who witnessed the tragic incident said that he heard the child scream as she fell off the bridge, reports Yahoo! News.
Jonchuk then quickly drove south but the Manatee County authorities managed to catch him 30 minutes later.
Reports state that Phoebe's parents, John and Michelle Kerr, were together for six years and more often than not police would be summoned to their house over domestic violence-related incidents.
They have since separated and John even attempted to get a restraining order against Kerr recently but was denied.
Despite this, Kerr couldn't believe what the father of her daughter did.
"I always saw him as a good dad," Kerr said. "She would always say, 'I love you daddy.' She loved her dad."
Kerr also revealed that she, Phoebe and John spent Christmas Eve together, without knowing that it was going to be the last time she'll see her daughter alive.
The father of the girl thrown from the bridge has since been charged with first-degree murder, Daily Mail has learned.
