Charlie Hebdo Attack SHOCKER: Magazine To Publish 1M Copies Next Week; Bill Maher Comments On Muslim Attack

Charlie Hebdo - the French satirical magazine that got attacked by masked militants this week - will not stop its operations despite the tragic incident.

According to the BBC, the publication has decided to resume its operations and even front a million copies of its latest issue instead of its usual 60,000 printed copies a week.

Charlie Hebdo's shocking announcement comes after 10 of its journalists and two police officers were killed during an Islamist attack at its Paris headquarters.

The tragic incident took place while the magazine's employees were doing their daily editorial meeting. Reports state that masked attackers opened fire at their office before exchanging shots with the police in the street outside.

"It's very hard. We are all suffering, with grief, with fear, but we will do it anyway because stupidity will not win," Columnist Patrick Pelloux said.

Stephane Charbonnier, a 47-year-old magazine editor, was one of the journalists killed during the Charlie Hebdo attack.

The incident is currently considered the deadliest attack in France since 1961, and authorities are still trying to identify the main motive behind the massacre.

This is not the first time that the Charlie Hebdo office was attacked by militants. In November 2011, the magazine's officers were burned due to an arson attack, which was believed to be a product of their bold gesture to name Prophet Mohammed their editor that week.

Meanwhile, amid the tension that is going on in France because of the shooting incident, comedian Bill Maher took the time to blast the idea that Muslims are actually liking this kind of attacks, The Daily Beast has learned.

"Hundreds of millions of them support an attack like this. They applaud an attack like this," Maher said during his guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "What they say is, 'We don't approve of violence, but you know what? When you make fun of the Prophet, all bets are off."

Maher then added, "When you make fun of the Prophet, all bets are off. You get what's coming to you. It's also mainstream that if you leave the religion, you get what's coming to you-which is death. Not in every Muslim country... but this is the problem in the world that we have to stand up to."

The 58-year-old stand-up comedian also noted that he applauds the bravery of the Charlie Hebdo writers in lampooning Muslims.

"These guys had the balls of the Eiffel Tower. Their balls were bigger than Gerard Depardieu," Maher said.
