Prince Andrew's net worth was previously disclosed as something that is only fit for one of the highest paid princes worldwide. However, after getting dragged into a scandal involving sexual intercourse with an underage girl, is Prince Andrew's wealth one that is to easily crumble?
Just recently, the Duke of York made headlines for allegedly making sexual contact with a Virginia Roberts, who was since challenged by prominent U.S. attorney Alan Dershowitz to file a rape charge, reports CNN.
Dershowitz was pretty confident that if Roberts files for the "most serious crime charge anyone can imagine.... she will go t jail for filing a false rape case."
Additionally, Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson also came to the rescue by slamming such allegations against the Duke of York.
"The York family is a tight unit. We've always been a tight unit," Ferguson said. "He is the greatest man there is. It was the finest moment of my life in 1986 when I married him. He is a great man, the best in the world."
The Buckingham Palace also denounced such allegations saying, "It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation."
Despite his legal battle, it is still undeniable that Prince Andrew's net worth is unshakable.
He once proved in 2013 that he was one of the highest paid princes of his time, with $82 million.
The Richest claims that his prolific wealth is all thanks to his several investments in stock markets, his good shape in property holdings, a number of restaurants in London and a football team the "London Angels."
Prince Andrew is yet to personally address the sexual violation issue.
