The ship overturned Scotland is known to be the Cypriot-registered Cemfjord. The said ship carries cement and was scheduled to arrive in Runcorn in Cheshire. However, the 83m cargo ship never arrived at its destination.
The ship overturns Scotland was found by a ferry at Pentland Firth. Ferry passengers immediately shared photographs of the upturned hull on social media. The ferry that had found the upturned hull has been identified as the NorthLink ferry, Hrossey.
In addition to Hrossey, search for the eight member crew of the ship overturns Scotland have resumed Sunday. Maritime and Coastguard Agency will continue its search for the eight missing crew men. The search has already involved a number of other vessels, which also include two rescue helicopters and four lifeboats.
