Slash's divorce reason is actually something serious that he has decided to take legal measures just to end his marital union from his wife Perla Hudson.
According to BlabberMouth, Slash's divorce reason per the divorce he filed is "irreconcilable differences." Moreover, the court documents revealed that the listed date of separation between the two is June 15.
This is not the first time the former lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses has filed for the legitimate dissolution of his marriage with Perla. The Brit-American musician has notably filed for divorce back in 2010; however, the two eventually managed to fix their problems back then and even reconciled a few months later.
This time however, sources say that this divorce is going to be final, ultimately ending their 13 years of being married to each other.
TMZ was the first one to break Slash's divorce reason after the notorious gossip and celebrity publication found out that the musician filed for divorce in Los Angeles just last Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Slash specified in his legal action that he wants joint physical and legal custody of their sons: London, 12, and Cash, 10.
Slash is not only known as a former member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, but also as a member of Velvet Revolver. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, according to The Telegraph.
The famous artist reportedly met Perla at an afterparty following a Guns N' Roses afterparty."
"We had our little fling for a second," Slash gushed of the instant connection they made back then. "I knew that I was seriously attracted to her. And I didn't need that in my life, so we stayed apart." They remained friends, but then one night in 1997 they met again and have been together ever since."
"She and I were hardcore partiers for a long time," he added. "When we walked into a room, you knew there was trouble. She was more hardcore than I was... And also, more - what's the word for it? - more outspoken. A tougher all-round person."
Despite their rocky relationship, Slash and Perla managed to renew their vows in 2011 in Ibiza, where Perla wore her original wedding dress at the event, AOL has learned.
Unbeknownst to them back then, they will be ending their marriage life for good three years later.
Slash was previously married to Renee Suran before he tied the knot with Perla.
