Blind Dog Lands Hot Tub In Sacramento, California; Boston Terrier Falls From 15th Floor And Only Gets Limp And Few Broken Ribs

Blind dog lands hot tub after falling from the 15th story of a high rise building in Sacramento, California. Thankfully for the 13-year-old Boston terrier, he miraculously landed inside a hot tub that was situated on the ground floor.

The partially blind dog lands hot tub luckily walked away from his brush death with only a limp and only a few broken ribs.

The dog, which they named Sam, was enjoying the sun on the balcony, all by himself. It was on the 15th floor Bridgeway Towers that he and his owner, Bill McCourt, had lived for the past three years. Bette Plumb, the mother of McCourt is usually the one who takes care of little Sam whenever he son was out for work.

Plumb shared about what her reaction was when she found out that her son's blind dog lands hot tub. She said, "My first thought was, 'He must have got out and taken the stairs or the elevator or something. But, there's no way he could have gotten out of the condo.' All of a sudden, I knew. It hit me immediately. He fell."

A man, who was sipping coffee on his terrace on the 8th floor, witnessed how blind dog lands hot tub plunged past his floor. In addition to him, there were also other pedestrians and shoppers on the ground floor who saw how Sam zoomed past, landing quite hard right in the center of the hot tub.

Two workers immediately arrived on the scene after they heard a massive splashing sound from the hot tub. One of them recognized that it was Sam and quickly called Plumb. When Plumb arrived, she saw that Sam was still well on his feet, but was limping and in need of immediate treatment and care.

The blind dog lands hot tub was immediately rushed to the VCA Bradshaw Animal Hospital, where he was treated for the injuries he obtained. Sam may have to rest for six to eight weeks in order to fully recover. Fortunately for him, he will be able to return home.
