Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks will be heading to Detroit for the first time in more than 18 years. They will be performing in the area on February 27th to 28th.

Tickets to the upcoming Detroit segment of The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood started to be on sale since 10 a.m. of December 19th. Sadly, though, loyal fans cannot hoard tickets, since there was an established eight ticket limit per transaction.

The tickets can be bought at ticketmaster.com, ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, through 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849. No sales transaction will be allowed at the venue box office or in various Ticketmaster outlets on December 19th. Moreover, each ticket will cost the buyer $57, excluding service fees.

According to setlist.fm, the last time that Brooks sets foot in Metro Detroit for a concert was on May 12th of 1996. The venue of his performance was at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Moreover, according to multiple online reports, Brooks has now sold 134 million albums and also received "every accolade the recording industry can bestow on an artist."

Thankfully for his fans, he recently released a new album entitled "Man Against Machine" on November 11th this year. This newly released album of his will be his first in 13 years.

Brooks had actually decided to retire from the scene back in 2001. He moved back to Oklahoma and raised his children before deciding to return to the music industry. His comeback included a performance at the President Barack Obama 2008 Inaugural Celebration, which was held at the Lincoln Memorial. It was actually Obama, himself, who requested that Brooks perform that night.

Brooks has been married to fellow country musician Trisha Yearwood since 2005.

Apart from Yearwood's inclusion in Brooks's concert tour, she also recently made the headlines because of her Christmas decorations. According to her, many people would most definitely want to visit her home with husband Brooks during the holiday season.

Trisha Yearwood shared, "Our house does smell amazing during Christmas and it looks amazing during Christmas. It's my favorite holiday. So, I am that girl who decorates over the top."
