Christmas Eve is a recognized holiday across the globe. Thus, people kick their shoes off and put their feet up for some much needed time with the family. However, with the holiday cheer comes the holiday rush of having to wrap presents and prepare a sumptuous feast. Thankfully, for those who have not prepared their evening meal there are still a few restaurants open on Christmas Eve.
According to a recent report by the Huffington Post, here are a few food chains or restaurants open on Christmas Eve:

For those living in Atlanta, 11Alive has listed restaurants open on Christmas Eve. These include Eleven at the Loews Hotel, Livingston Restaurant + Bar, Better Half, Sway, Davio's, Canoe, Cibo e Beve, Food 101, Southern Art, The Cafe at the Ritz-Carlton, and the Lobby and Room at the Twelve Hotel.
Aside from restaurants open on Christmas Eve, here are other establishments, such as grocery stores, that are open. These include Albertsons from 6 am to 9 pm, Publix which stays open until 7 pm, Whole Foods from 7 am to 7 pm, and Kroger open until 6 in the evening.
CBS Chicago also named a few restaurants open on Christmas Eve of which include Downtown Chicago Bistronomic. It is also open on New Year's Day and New Year's Eve. There aren't much reservations during the holiday so not being able to find a seat won't really be a problem.
