Ryan Phillippe Twitter: Ex Wife Reese Witherspoon Admits She Was ‘Scrambled Eggs’ Following Divorce

Ryan Phillippe Twitter star and Reese Witherspoon used to be the golden couple of Hollywood. Their fans were largely devastated when their marriage ended back in 2007.

Although their divorce happened several years ago, the "Sweet Home Alabama" actress recently opened up in "60 Minutes" about the hard time that she had both personally and professionally following her split with Ryan Phillippe Twitter star after being married to each other for eight years.

The 38-year-old Witherspoon said, "I spent a few years just trying to feel better. You can't really be creative when you feel like your brain is scrambled eggs. I was just kind of floundering career-wise. I wasn't making things I was passionate about. And, it was really clear that audiences weren't responding to anything I was putting out there."

She managed to make quite a few movies during that time, namely, "Four Christmases", "Rendition", "Water for Elephants" and "How Do You Know."

Fortunately for Witherspoon, she found her special man, Jim Toth, in 2011 and married him. She gave birth to their son, Tennessee, after a year.

However, according to Ryan Phillippe Twitter star's former wife, the lowest point in her acting career came in 2012. The New Yorker included her name on a list of actors and actresses who are no longer revelant.

She said, "I thought I was reading, like, a profile on another actor. Then, somewhere down at the end, it said, 'The people who are washed up.' I mean, it really hurt my feelings."

The other stars who made it to the list were Demi Moore, Keanu Reeves, Russell Crowe, Tom hanks, John Travolta, Mel Gibson, and Nicolas Cage.

Thankfully for Witherspoon, her performance in "Wild" has given her a strong spot in this year's Oscar race. It is safe to say that the tide has somehow turned for her.
