Naya River Instagram post has given her fans and the fans of hit TV show, "Glee," a bittersweet feeling. Apparently, it was her last day on the set of the series.
The amazingly beautiful 27-year-old actress, who plays the role of Santana on the internationally popular Fox show, took to social media to tell her fans and followers about her sentiments of leaving the show.
She wrote, "Last day on the Glee set! Spending it in a scene with @heathermorristy and @druiddude. I have been truly blessed to have been on this crazy ride for the past six years and will always hold a special place in my heart for everyone that has been on this journey with me and Santana!"
Rivera, together with Chris Colfer, Morris, and Lea Michele, as well as the rest of the original cast of the show took one last bow on the McKinley High stage in the poster for the sixth and final season of the famous musical comedy.
This promo art, which was actually released by TV Guideon Thursday, hints on some clues regarding the plot of the show's final season. According to the clues, there could be a possible romance to bud between Kurt, played by Colfer, and Blain, played by Darren Criss, as well as between Santana, played by Rivera, and Puck (Mark Salling.)
This new cast photo comes after the release of the first trailer for the upcoming season earlier this week. It showcased Rachel, played by Michele, signing the popularized song "Let It Go" from hit animated movie, "Frozen." Santana and Brittany, played by Morris, were shown dancing their hearts out with the rest of the Cheerios gang, and Blaine is featured singing with the rest of the Warblers.
The final season of "Glee" will be premiering on the small screens on Fox by January 9th of next year at 8/7c.
