Charlie Sheen to reprise role as the Boy in the Police Station which was popularized by the famous 1986 classic, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." However, according to People, the 49-year-old "Two and A Half Men" star will be paying homage to his famous role in an upcoming episode of "The Goldbergs" on ABC.
Long before Sheen was famous on "Two and A Half Men," where he was later replaced by Ashton Kutcher after he opted to leave the show, Sheen was admired by his fans for his participation "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
Charlie Sheen to reprise role almost three decades later has piqued a lot of interest in his fans, as well as the fans of the highly rated sitcom, "The Goldbergs."
In the original scene, Sheen was wearing a leather jacket as he was told off by Jeannie, who was played by Jennifer Grey.
Out on TV by 2015, this special episode will be following the character Barry, played by Troy Gentile, as he pretends to be sick so that he could have a day off from work, something that Ferris Bueller did in the classic 80s show. Of course, as expected, his attempt does not go well.
Although news that Charlie Sheen to reprise role made a lot of fans excited, his role in the 1980s classic was actually not the role that they were expecting he would bring back. Just this past September, he made it known that he was ready to return to the hit CBS show for its final season. However, sources believe that such event was highly unlikely.
However, Kutcher appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and fanned flames of Sheen's return to "Two and A Half Men" once again. He told the famous talk show host, "It's, uh, I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about it, but I'm scared. Yeah, I'm a little terrified."
"The Goldbergs" airs on TV every Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC and will be giving fans fresh new episodes by early next year. Apart from Gentile, the sitcom also stars Hayley Orrantia as Erica, and other stars, namely, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sean Giambrone, Jeff Garlin, and George Segal.
