The 63-year-old comedian was born on July 21, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. Williams' acting skills were first discovered on a TV sitcom called "Mork & Mindy," where he transitioned from television shows to films, according to Born Rich.

He is notable for his roles in movies such as, "Happy Feet," "World's Greatest Dad," "Shrink," "Old Dogs," "Happy Feet 2," "The Big Wedding," "Look of Love," "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," "Night at the Museum, Man of the Year," "The Aristocrats," and "Stage Left: A Story of Theater in the Bay Area." The last movies he casted, which are not released yet, are "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb," "A Merry Friggin' Christmas, Boulevard" and "Absolutely Anything."

He also appeared on TV shows, such as "American Idol," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Happy Days," and more.

The reports claimed that the actor charged $10 to $15 million per film. He also gained money from his occasional stand-up live comedy shows around the world. He also owned a theatre company and a villa in San Francisco, California. In the previous year, Williams sold his home in Napa Valley and a vineyard on the market. The properties were sold at $35 million.

The Hollywood actor has also engaged to a lot of charitable activities. He started the Windfall Foundation to raise money and fund philanthropic organizations. He also got involved with the "Comic Relief" charity group. The actor then married Susan Schneider in 2011, where they lived in California.

Williams died on Aug. 11 this year. The cause of death was investigated to be suicide that led to asphyxia due to hanging, The Huffington Post reported. His final movie, "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" will be out to the theaters on Friday.
