Jagex Games Studio Announces Transformers Universe Shutdown

Hasbro and developer Jagex Games Studio are closing down Transformers Universe, their third-individual shooter MOBA games, ahead of schedule one year from now, the organizations said today.

"We're hugely disappointed, but the game will be closing over the coming weeks," the developer said in an announcement, confirming that Transformers Universe will fully shut down on Jan. 31, 2015

"This decision comes at an important time for both companies as they both realign their plans and focuses for 2015."

Transformers Universe is a multiplayer strategic enclosure diversion that mixes third-individual shooter battle with mechanics enlivened by MOBA diversions like League of Legends and Dota 2. The internet diversion has been in an open beta since July.

The methodology of closing down Transformers Universe starts today. Jagex is discounting players who acquired the diversion's Founders Packs - groups of in-amusement gear, redesigns, cash and more - or different things, including relic packs and starter packs. Jagex is likewise shutting the capacity for new players to do records and switch off the capacity for existing players to purchase relic packs and starter groups.

The amusement's servers and discussions will go disconnected from the net at 10 a.m. GMT on Jan. 31.

Transformers Universe was authoritatively published at Botcon 2011, the yearly Transformers tradition. The amusement was initially planned as a hugely multiplayer internet diversion in the vein of Everquest and World of Warcraft, yet altered course in 2012 and was overhauled as a MOBA-style diversion to better fit the Transformers brand.
