'Dragon Age: Inquisition' Game Review: Explore The World of Dragons, New Content Packs Released

'Dragon Age: Inquisition' was supposedly designed for the new gaming consoles, marking the beginning of BioWare's new Frostbite 3 initiative, according to EuroGamer.

The Bioware game has been noted to have a weak plot yet able to present a "beautiful, massive" world, according to IGN's review. The review also mentioned the game's deep RPG system. Most gamers are expected to spend hours to achieve the game's main purpose: hunting dragons.

While critics have given a score of 86 out 100 for the game in Metacritic, users are divided about it. Based on 2021 ratings, the game has gained 5.8 out of 10. Some users have complained about the compatibility of the game with their hardware. Others also considered the game "boring," supporting other reviewers' remark on its game story. The game offered lots of content though.

As a matter of fact, two new "Dragon Age: Inquisition" content packs have been released Tuesday. Bioware have announced on the official Dragon Age page that the latest content packs for the said game can be downloaded for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

The first pack, "Dragon Age: Inquisition - Destruction," is a free expansion of the game, where new routes to existing locations and wildlife prone have been added. The second pack, on the other hand, is considered a "deluxe upgrade" and players who bought the standard edition of the game are eligible to it. The upgrade can be purchased at $10. The package also includes "Flames of the Inquisition" gear, a Skyhold Throne, Red Hart Halla mount, Bog Unicorn mount, Deluxe Edition multiplayer chests, and a digital copy of the game's soundtrack, according to IGN.

'Dragon Age: Inquisition' has been released in November this year. The standard game can be purchased on Amazon with the prices of $59.99 for PC download, $39.99 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and $66.55 for PlayStation 4.
