Eddie Redmayne and fiancee Hannah Bagshawe have moved on from their engagement by sealing the marital deal with wedding rings this Monday in a very intimate wedding ceremony at private members' club Babington House, Daily Mail has learned.
The longtime boyfriend-girlfriend has turned into husband-and-wife through a Winter Wonderland-inspired ceremony that was specially made candlelit for a more meaningful and romantic atmosphere.
Eyewitnesses gushed to the media that only "a small number of close family and friends" were in attendance at the union ceremony between "Les Miserables" actor Eddie Redmayne and fiancee Hannah Bagshawe.
A spokesperson to the lovely couple confirmed that they exchanged their wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. local time in Somerset.
Hello Magazine has learned that Redmayne sported a lilac shirt, lavender tie, waistcoat and pin-striped trousers while his bride rocked an elegant gown as she walked the aisle.
The 32-year-old actor reportedly proposed to Bagshawe, also 32, this summer after two years of courtship and being together. Redmayne then shared the good news to The Times.
"Mr E.J.D. Redmayne and Miss H.J. Bagshawe. The engagement is announced between Edward, son of Mr and Mrs Richard Redmayne of London, and Hannah, daughter of Mr Nicholas Bagshawe and Mrs Caryl Bagshawe, both of London," read their engagement announcement.
Following their engagement, the twosome enlisted the help of a special effects team at the private members country club for the Winter Wonderland-inspired wedding, according to The Sun.
News on their imminent wedding came just after Redmayne got his Best Actor Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything."
It isn't clear yet where Eddie Redmayne and fiancee-turned-wife Hannag Bagshawe are headed to for their honeymoon.
