Bieber fans are wondering if the model Hailey Baldwin is the singer's new love interest. The Canadian singer refuted the rumors and said he's "super single."
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin denied the rumors about their relationship despite the various witnesses to their public display of affection.
The pop singer posted a photo on his Instagram Monday, with a caption that stated their current relationship status, according to E! Online. The caption read, "People are crazy. I'm super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise." The black-and-white image showed a photo Bieber smiling while Baldwin was sitting in the back of a car.
Baldwin seconded the clarification and tweeted on the topic recently. The 18-year-old teenager wrote, "hope that clarifies everything for everyone:) rumors are silly!"
Despite the "Boyfriend" singer insisting that Baldwin is only his "good friend," many people are still convinced that the two are dating, especially after they were seen at Stage Social House Hollywood. Sources reported that two "had a hard time keeping their hands off each other," Hollywood Life reported.
"They got cozy at a corner table with big leather chairs and ordered chicken fingers, mac & cheese and french fries," the source said. "Justin and Hailey are definitely in the honeymoon stage of their relationship. They were very flirty and touchy feely with Justin putting his hand on her leg under the table and Hailey stroking his arm with her fingers. They were definitely conscious of other people though and pulled back when they thought people were looking."
Baldwin also opened up to E! News about her friendship with Bieber on Dec. 8.
"I've known him since I was so young-since I was like 13-and we've just been good friends over the years," she explained. "We have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that."
The model is supposed to be focusing her energy on her modeling career instead of giving attention to the rumors about her love life. Her father, actor and All-Star Celebrity Apprentice contestant Stephen Baldwin has proudly acknowledged his daughter's dedication on her work.
"The cool thing is Hailey has mostly generated all of her own momentum," Mr. Baldwin told E! News.
Meanwhile, Bieber's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, hasn't commented about the dating rumors surrounding the singer and Baldwin.
