"Amazing Race" Season 25 showed the Final Four determined to risk their health to gain a spot in the Final Three as they travel the roads of Philippines, according to Hit Flix.
In the latest episode of "The Amazing Race," the racers started the leg at a rice field in Manila. Misti struggled with her foot injury as she and Jim took off first. The dentists tried communicating in English to find the jeepney stop with no avail. Scientists Amy and Maya took of second and found a ride, which Misti and Jim took as well.
Surfers Adam and Bethany left the rice field third and rode a jeepney, which turned out to have led them to another direction. They hopped out and got a new one, instructing the driver to bring them to the end point of the jeepney route. Wrestlers Brooke and Robbie, who went out last, also had difficulties in finding the correct ride.
The surfers made the right decision, which caused them to lead the race. The wrestlers, on the other hand, were delayed due to a Speed Bump. Brooke had been complaining about the delay when the pair did the task.
Surprisingly, they've finished the Speed Bump and found that the other teams haven't arrived yet. Turned out, the scientists and the dentists had been travelling on the wrong route. They scrambled to catch up with the other two teams.
The surfers were still on the lead after finishing the basket challenge. They received the next clue, which would take them to the marketplace. The wrestlers then showed up, where Brooke managed to run the challenge himself.
Meanwhile, the dentists and the scientists finally found their first clue. Amy and Maya chose the other road block, where they had to drive a taxi bike around the a city block in a short period of time. Jim and Misti took the same challenge as well, and the two teams competed with each other in terms of speed.
The wrestlers got ahead of Adam and Bethany after the surfers lost their clue. The next road block involved carrying certain items to three different shops. The scientists caught up after finishing the challenge ahead of the dentists. The surfers finally found their clue in Adam's backpack.
The race was neck-to-neck as the three teams searched their way to the next clue. The dentists, scientists and surfers delivered the goods for the challenge while the wrestlers head to the pit stop in Fort San Diego. The scientists had a tough luck though, as the dentists and surfers finally finished their challenge, leaving them behind.
Brooke and Robbie reached the pit stop first. Adam and Bethany showed up second while Misti and Jim trailed behind. Amy and Maya came last. Fortunately, the show pulled out the Save card to keep the four teams intact for the following episode.
"Amazing Race" has broken their tradition and for the first time, allowed four teams to compete in the final leg, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry. The tv series will air their last four episodes for season 5 on Fridays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
