Sarah Ferguson 50 Pounds Lost In Just Five Months; Duchess Of York Opens Up About Time When She Was 'Drowning In Eating'

Sarah Ferguson 50 pounds loss surprised many, especially as she managed to shed off all that weight in just five months. Ferguson, who is more formally known as the Duchess of York, was always vocal about the struggles that she experienced with regards to her weight.

The former ambassador of the Weight Watchers brand spoke to Hello! magazine recently and gave the world a first look at her new slimmed down body. "I used to be so angry," Sarah Ferguson shared. "I believed I was never going to lose the weight, that I had lost control. I couldn't fit into any of my clothes."

She has also been named as the ambassador for the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London.

The ex-wife of Prince Andrew then continued, "I was just drowning in eating, drowning in food." Because of her weight issues, the 55-year-old royal was even heartlessly labelled by various British tabloids as "Duchess of Pork."

"Every time there was a 'Duchess of Pork' or 'Fat Frumpy Fergie' headline, they didn't have any idea they were reaching to the depths of my soul."

Sarah Ferguson 50 pounds loss was successful when the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie decided to cut out sugar. Apart from applying some massive changes to her diet, she also committed herself to a very "straightforward" exercise regime.

An insider told Us Weekly that Ferguson, who was sometimes referred to as Fergie, was working "with a diet guru" in Verbier, Switzerland. It would appear that this amazingly beautiful woman was finally hell bent on working on her health as she had actually hired someone to help her get rid of all that excess weight.

Additionally, Sarah Ferguson 50 pounds told the magazine that it "took courage to go out in public all the years I have been overweight." Now, though, without the extra 50 pounds, she exudes confidence in every public appearance.
