Critics have released their remarks about the two recently released phablets, Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6.
Both gadgets use cutting-edge technology with their own sleek design and unique features. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Apple iPhone 6, however, have their own individual strengths and weaknesses. There are certain cases in which the the device can't do what the other is capable.
For instance, Apple devices collaborate with each other and it doesn't take time and effort to use iPhone 6 with the other Apple gadgets. iPhone 6 can be used to control the Apple TV and share content on the user's phone using the TV display. The latest version of Mac OS X, Yosemite, also allows user to type a message on a mobile phone and then use the content in a Mac computer and vice versa.
Although there are various of applications that Samsung users can upload to connect the Galaxy Note 4 with other Samsung gadgets, the process is scattered and disjointed, according to CIO.
Galaxy Note 4, however, surpasses iPhone 6 in terms of multitasking. The Samsung device offers unique and useful features that allow the user to view and access multiple applications at the same time. The Pop Up View shortcut lets user to minimize Samsung apps, which can be dragged and positioned wherever the user want them to display. The device also features an evolved two-paned Multi Window, which grants user to interact with multiple apps in split-screen mode.
Both devices sport a fingerprint scanner, but Apple's Touch ID fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on iPhone 6, is easier to use and has more functionalities than Samsung's. There are no restrictions on how Apple's Touch ID fingerprint scanner works, since it can read the user's fingerprint in any orientation. Samsung's fingerprint scanner, however, requires the user to slowly swipe his finger from top to bottom or vice versa.
Regarding cost, iPhone 6 is cheaper than Galaxy Note 4. The Apple device is $100 less than the Samsung handset, specifically the 16GB iPhone 6 against the 32GB Galaxy Note 4. There's also more fixed storage options to choose from when picking the Apple gadget. Samsung only offers a fixed 32GB storage, though it has microSD memory card slot that supports up to 128GB memory.
In terms of battery, Galaxy Note 4 has more advantage than iPhone 6. The Apple handset sports a 1810mAh battery while the new Galaxy phone features a 3220mAh battery. Although both devices offer fast-charging features, the iPhone gadget needs a compatible cord, which is not shipped with the phone.
Meanwhile, Apple has recently released a new installment to the iPhone series dubbed as iPhone 6 Plus. It is, by far, the biggest iPhone model released by the company, according to Trusted Reviews.
