"It is a very sad day for Thompsonville village and the town of Enfield as a whole to lose four of our citizens. I would like to send my deepest sympathies to the families of the victims," says Thompsonville Fire Chief Frank Alaimo in a report by the Statesville.

Wednesday evening, a house in two-family connected Connecticut house suddenly went ablaze. Investigations regarding the source of the fire is currently underway. Four family members died in the incident.
Fire fighters who arrived at the scene were unable to enter the house as flames were already shooting up the window. The second floor had already collapsed into the second.
