A fight between two men usually suggests a love affair. However, the American rapper and Canadian artist had an intense brawl not because of love, but because of music.
Aubrey Drake Graham, widely known as Drake, and Sean John Combs, also known as P. Diddy, have engaged into a fight because of a song Sunday night, Celeb Buzz reported.
The brawl happened at LIV Monday, which is a nightclub in Miami Beach, where the two joined DJ Khaled's birthday celebration. The two got into a fight after Diddy accused Drake for "stealing" the song "0 to 100/ The Catch Up." It was the first time Diddy saw Drake since a the song was released.
Sources reported that Diddy got "upset with music rights." He confronted Drake about the song and when Drake didn't pay attention to the American rapper, Diddy allegedly punched Drake. The reports indicated Diddy telling Drake that the latter will "never disrespect" him again, according to TMZ. The fight was reported to have started inside the club and eventually, the rappers brought the fight outside.
Drake ended up in the emergency room after the brawl. It is said that Drake's old injury has been opened up after he hit his shoulder. Diddy went back inside LIV Monday and carried on celebrating with his son.
Reports said that producer Boi-1da offered the track to the two rappers about a year ago. Diddy didn't record anything with it while Drake grabbed the opportunity and apparently, used the song for himself. The song has attracted a lot of fans and became a big hit for Drake.
Drake recorded the track for his fourth studio album, "Views from the 6." The song has been in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart for 20 weeks.
Furthermore, "0 to 100/ The Catch Up" has been nominated for two Grammy awards. It has been nominated as Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.
There are no further details about Drake's current situation in the hospital. Diddy hasn't made an official appearance to clarify the reports as well.
