Animals at the Natural History Museum in London have shed their skin for a new exhibit called "Animals Inside Out."
The same team that has used Gunther von Hagens plastination process to display human bodies has created the same technique on animals. And if you have the stomach for it, you can see the muscular skeletons, blood vessels and anatomy of mammals from gorillas to goats.
Exhibit curator Georgina Bishop says, "We really want visitors to learn more about the anatomy and physiology of the animals that are on display. It's a really unique chance for visitors to sort of see under the skin of animals and see them in a way that they've never seen them before."
100 plastinated and capillary specimens will be on display at the Natural History Museum from April 6 to September 16.
