Emma Stone's "Cabaret" Broadway debut has certainly got things going on great for her. Proving yet again that she's one hell of a talented lady, the reviews of her performance are nothing short of spectacular. She's been called a dazzling diva giving life to her character, Sally Bowles.
The Broadway musical was presented at the Roundabout Theatre Company at Studio 54. Starring Emma Stone for "Cabaret," other stars included Linda Emond, Bill Heck, Alan Cumming, and Danny Burstein. From the start of the show, with Bowles played by Stone coming onstage, she characterizes everything about a naïve woman ready to take on the world.
Emma Stone's "Cabaret" take on Bowles was very much different from that of Michelle Williams' Bowles, which was darker in nature. Stone brought out a fizzy yet surprisingly seductive character in her Broadway character.
In addition to Emma Stone's "Cabaret" impeccable acting, the "Amazing Spiderman" actress doesn't fall short with the surprises. She sings and dances for the Broadway act that simply proves she's one complete package.
Despite the rave reviews Emma Stone's "Cabaret" performance has been receiving, this didn't stop the actress from enjoying a day out for a Soho stroll. Andrew Garfield, Stone's boyfriend, was relatively absent on her day out. Compared to her glam look as Bowles on Broadway, Stone's Soho stroll getup was chic and simple.
