Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen at a motorcade pulling up outside Carlyle Hotel NYC. They arrived at 5:45 p.m. (22:45 GMT) all smiles for the hundreds of watchers outside the hotel. The royal couple even stopped for a few minutes to greet the adoring crowd gathered at Carlyle Hotel NYC.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in NYC!" tweets the British consulate along with a photo of the renowned couple in a report by Yahoo!
The couple's arrival at Carlyle Hotel NYC marks their first day out of their planned three-day visit. Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William will meet up with a mix of diplomats to support their causes and promote a number of their British interests.
Noticeably absent from the couple's arrival at the Carlyle Hotel NYC was their first born, Prince George. This visit to the NYC is the couple's first after their trip to Los Angeles back in the year 2011, which took place briefly after their highly-publicized wedding.
Photographers present during the couple's arrival at Carlyle Hotel NYC were also quick to note Duchess Kate Middleton's growing belly. Middleton is set to give birth to a second baby by April. The Duchess wore a purple maternity coat to cover her growing baby bump.
