Saudi Arabia 135 Arrests: Arrest Linked To Nationwide Terrorism, 26 Individuals Arrested Were Foreigners

Saudi Arabia 135 arrests - More than a 100 people were arrested in Saudi Arabia with the said individuals having links to acts of terrorism. Included in the 136 arrests were 26 individuals confirmed to be foreigners. Some of those arrested are now said to be linked to the ISIL with plans of attacking the country.

In a move to be one step ahead of terrorist groups, Saudi Arabia 135 arrests have been made. 25 of those arrested were mostly Syrians who have said to be planning extremist attacks in and out of the country. Other suspects included in the 135 arrests are from Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain, Yemen, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Egypt.

Charges for individuals include in the Saudi Arabia 135 arrest are belonging to terrorist organizations, financing terrorist groups abroad, fighting abroad, and recruiting young people to fight abroad. Such charges were announced by the interior ministry spokesman, General Mansour al-Turki.

Forty of the Saudia Arabia 135 arrests have also been said to be "trained in the handling of weapons." These individuals have then gone back to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in hopes of "destabilising the country." The arrests have been made after terrorist's' "repeated attempts."

"Daesh and other extremist groups seem to be more successful at infiltrating Saudi Arabia and recruiting Saudi Arabians," says a Middle East specialist, Paul Sullivan in an exclusive report by Bloomberg, adding, "Such arrests have happened in the past, albeit these were seemingly mostly al-Qaeda types. Saudi Arabia has some problems ahead."

The Saudi Arabia 135 arrests come after terrorist attacks in the Islamic State. Daesh, another group linked to al-Qaeda, had seized a state in Iraq and Syria early this year. Saudi has now ramped up their security not only with the arrests made but with military intelligence with the United Kingdom and the United States.
